Seeing the standing water in your photo I’m prompted to ask if you have had issues with the Zika virus? I know your climate can be quite hot and humid so I pray you’ve been spared.
Thankfully we don’t have it here, and the fishes in the pond should take care of the mosquito larvae. We do have many cases of Dengue fever though, especially during rainy season. Lots of standing water everywhere.
