It’s midnight in my part of the world. Another weekend gone and another day comes. I count myself lucky to be able to afford a day off from work. It’s only for one day, but it is so much better than none at all.
I can agree with you there Orlando. When I work in South Carolina in the textile industry my only day off came Saturday night from midnight to 8 a.m. Sunday morning. I was on graveyard shift and worked 6 days or less a week for 13 years. Retirement is sweet. 🙂
I don’t know if I’ll ever retire from being a business owner, Bob. Honestly, I don’t know what I’d be doing the rest of the week if I didn’t have any work to focus on. I have been thinking about touring the country on my bike, though, but probably when things are better and when somebody will take care of the business full time.
Everyone has their own priorities and interests. You still have a family to care for while I don’t. I’ve raised 3 different families and found that now that I’m alone and retired It’s about my needs and wants. I’m 65 and have worked for 43 years. Now it’s my turn to kick back and enjoy my hobbies that include photography and teaching photography.
You’re right… I have 2 kids in college and 1 in grade school. I’ve got my work cut out.
Wonderful photograph! Where I liked the low key picture on your previous post, I like the high key light here!
thank you.
Love it!
