Meet Bimbo, a resident of Pleasantville Subdivision, Tacloban City. I saw him all by himself gathering clams for lunch.
I hope you didn’t have other thoughts in mind.
This was the only catch for a slow Sunday like today.

the photos are silent but they tell me the story, very good job
The 2nd photo was amazing! I was instantly driven to focus on the boy!
Praying that you and your family are safe Orlando… for those of you who didn’t know,Tacloban suffered great devastation from the typhoon Haiyan, also known as typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines…
Reblogged this on Life through a viewfinder and commented:
I love how the pictures capture, the everyday struggles of life. How the boy, so young looks after and cares for his family, enough to dive in and fish for clams all morning, just for a decent meal.
i love it !! ❤
What a touching story!
Excellent set. I wonder why he took his shoes with him while out fishing…
It’s to make sure that he’ll be wearing them on the way back home.
Pretty much as i imagined – thanks, Orlando.
love all frames. It is like watching an excellent silent movie. Thank you once again!!!
What a cool kid-nice photo essay.
thank you, Mark
What an infectious smile.
