I had one hour to spare before lunch yesterday, so I spent the time taking a short walk around the city. It was starting to drizzle again so, with umbrella in hand, I got out of the car and started my leisurely walk.

Sundays are very laid back; business is slow on these days as people take time to go to church or sleep until mid morning. There’s not much action in the downtown area, especially nearing lunch hour. The public market might still have something interesting to shoot, but there was barely enough time to cover four blocks at the rate I am going.

These photo walks are therapeutic. Meeting people and getting to know them just makes me realize how lucky I am. The more people I meet, the luckier I get.
